Location: Atlanta, GA 30308 (Close to Ponce City Market)

Hybrid Remote : In the office 2-3 days per week (flexible, could be less depending on location)

Responsibilities:

• Researching, developing, implementing generative AI solutions for products/applications
• Designing and developing generative AI models via advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques
• Implementing LLM-powered solutions through prompt engineering and RAG based systems
• Analyze experimental results to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of Generative AI algorithms.
• Building evaluation systems to assess model output quality and product experience objectively
• Designing architectures that meet product requirements, balancing considerations such as AI safety and latency
• Working with software engineers, AI Engineers, and stakeholders to integrate generative AI solutions into data-intensive telematics platforms
• Providing project leadership as a subject matter expert (SME), guiding team members and participating in cross-departmental projects
• Mentoring team members on best practices for AI product development
• Engaging with the AI research community, applying the latest findings and technologies to AI initiatives
• Implementing new statistical or mathematical methodologies for data analysis models
• Conducting causality experiments using A/B tests or epidemiological approaches to identify root issues
• Extracting value from Google BigQuery through complex queries and analyses
• Maintaining documentation of research, methodologies, model design, and experimental results

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in data science and generative AI
• Strong SQL querying and Python (object-oriented) programming skills
• Experience building production machine learning models
• Experience with transformer models - BERT and GPT
• Experience with pre-LLM NLP models - word2vec or GloVe
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s (preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• Experience with cloud computing (GCP preferred)
• Experience with OpenAI and VertexAI frameworks and APIs
• Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) based systems is preferred
