Software Developer Cloud & Mobile Applications

Employment Type: Full-Time / hybrid

Our client, a leading provider of technology solutions within the restaurant industry, is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Software Developer to join their growing team based in Plano, TX . This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative products that are transforming the way restaurants operate, from casual dining to quick service.

The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of development activities, including enhancing existing products, creating rapid prototypes of new concepts, and supporting both mobile and cloud-based projects. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work across multiple disciplines including mobile applications, cloud services, databases, and user interfaces.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of existing software products.
• Develop rapid prototypes for new features or products, both for mobile platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide development support for mobile and cloud projects.
• Create internal tools and utilities to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure high-quality code is delivered that meets performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Solid knowledge of Azure cloud services , including Azure Functions, App Service, Event Grid, Event Hub, message queues, storage solutions, and databases.
• Exposure to Kotlin and/or Swift for native Android or iOS development is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing and troubleshooting web , mobile , and Windows applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high level of self-motivation, accountability, and a results-driven approach to work.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a closely related discipline is required.
