Staff Accountant
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Location: Onsite role in Columbus, OH

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and collections. Manage cash flow and ensure timely payments.
• Project Accounting: Track and analyze construction project costs. Prepare job cost reports and allocate expenses accurately.
• General Ledger: Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. Provide financial insights to management.
• Budgeting/Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation, monitor performance, and perform variance analysis.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies and maintain documentation for audits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
