A premier developer and builder based in Metro Atlanta is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in the fast-paced construction industry and is eager to contribute to a growing company.

As a Staff Accountant, you will take ownership of financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborating on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management and collections.
• Assisting in payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Coordinating annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Analyzing costs, identifying savings opportunities, and implementing process improvements.
• Utilizing Sage Intacct for financial data management and reporting.

• Accounting degree
• 1-2 years accounting experience
• Fast paced BUSY environment
• Excel savvy
• Software: Sage Intacct (plus not a must)
