1st Shift Overhead Crane Operator

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating various machines within our facility, including a double hoist crane, shot blasting machine, and saw. Your role will involve measuring and cutting steel, loading and unloading parts, and ensuring the general upkeep of your workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate different machines in the facility, including a double hoist crane.
• Press buttons and monitor the shot blasting machine to clean steel.
• Operate a saw to cut steel after receiving training.
• Use measurements in fractions and decimals for cutting steel.
• Use a tape measure to measure out cuts.
• Learn to use a crane to load and unload parts.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the general area.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Read and interpret customer specifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
