Responsibilities:

In this role, the Accounting Specialist will be responsible for A/P, A/R, bookkeeping, and financial reporting of business transactions, and will prepare tax-related documents for farm industry clients to provide to external CPA’s. In addition, they will provide light administrative support.

Qualifications:

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree with bookkeeping or internal accounting experience. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of accounting principles and practices along with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and attention to detail are essential to this position. Strong customer service skills and an ability to communicate accounting-related information to individuals within and outside of the organization is preferred. Knowledge of the agriculture industry is a plus.
